About KRIM Network Sdn Bhd

KRIM Network Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status company. The company specialises in supporting socio-economic development programmes. The Software Unit provides the information technology to assist portfolio managers plan and monitor a wide range of development programmes.

The Software Unit develops and maintains web based database application systems for programmes on bridging the digital divide, poverty, community service, economic intelligence, rural economic development, human capital development and budgetary expenditure monitoring. The company is among the very few that addresses the importance of effectiveness and efficiency when implementing programmes.

KRIM Network Sdn Bhd was established in 1997 and was originally involved in the business of conducting motivational courses and industrial training. Since then, the company has grown from its conventional business activities into the information technology media. The company is presently one of the leading information technology companies in Terengganu, with projects in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Perak and Selangor.


About the Software Unit Team

KRIM Network Sdn Bhd has over 100 information technology staff. The Software Unit has 13 staff dedicated to software application systems development.Our expertise has been on the open source Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) technology architecture and recently we are also starting on the open source Java technology architecture.

 

Raja Iskandar Shah heads the software unit and specialises in information strategies. Since 1991, he has been involved in consulting and audit work on financial information systems for various clients in the financial, technology, engineering, distribution, and government sectors. He holds a degree in Economics & Accounting from the University of Bristol and is currently pursuing his Masters of Information Science on Competitive Intelligence in a joint programme between the Open University, Malaysia with the Universite Paul Cezanne Aix Marseille, France. He blogs regularly on everyday application of competitive intelligence.

Syuhada binti Abdul Kadir
leads the consulting team and specialises in system requirements analysis. In 2001, she started as an Analyst Programmer developing a system for the federal government sector. Since 2003 she has focused on System Requirement & Analysis Study and has consulted various clients. Currently she has consulted various government agencies on developing social management information systems, particularly on poverty. She holds a degree in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Elmi Shahril Onn leads the research and development team and specialises in producing smart web interfaces to complex data structures. Since 2001, he has developed many innovative web based applications. He holds a diploma in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Nazaitul Shima Ali leads the project implementation team and is familiar with various software development lifecycle methodologies. Since 2002, she has been involved in managing the transition from development to operations. She holds a degree in Information Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Ruzainisuhanaliza Abdul Muni started in 2005 as a junior programmer immediately after finishing her studies. She did her degree in Information Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is capable of developing systems and sometimes involves in system analysis and excitedly learns new technologies.

Afsal Abdullah joined KRIM Network Sdn Bhd ranks in August of 2006. She is also currently working towards her Computer Science (Computer System & Network) degree at the University Malaysia Pahang. Afsal works with databases and system development.

Munirah Salleh is application development executive for Sofware Unit at KRIM Network Sdn Bhd. She has been with the company since 2006. A graduate of the University of Technology Malaysia.She earned her degree in computer science with an emphasis on information system.

Tuan Norlida Tuan Hamzah involved in web based system applications development and programming. Since 2005, she has contributed in many web based systems enhancement and statistics for user accounting access system. She holds a degree in Information Technology (Software Engineering) from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu.

Wan Mohd Fadzli B W Samsudin graduated with degree at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Computer Science (Multimedia) on November 2005. Started career as professional web designer in 2006 and has been involved with various professional web design projects ever since.

Mohd Taufiq Ismail forms part of the R&D team with core development expertise in web application user experience and security. Since 2005 he has been involved in web application development and web marketing. He graduated with a degree majoring in Sofware Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Mohd Suhaimi bin Hassan has been designing and developing web based application since 2005. Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and updating web site design, content and services for web based database driven applications. He holds a degree in Computer Science (Multimedia) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Zaleha Jusoh works as Software Engineer at Krim Network Sdn Bhd started September 2008. She currently involved in ePBT project. She holds a degree in Information Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Ahmad Irfan Bin Mohd joined KRIM Network Sdn Bhd in October 7,2008. Started as Analyst Programmer in November 2000 until mid of 2007.Promoted as System Analyst after that until September 2008.Involved in various projects with core in Human Resource project for Federal Goverment Sector .A part of that also responsible to develope,test and deploy mobile project in 2005 and Integration project amongst pilot agencies cross malaysia.Also under his responsibility is he was the leader of the developer team to migrate from classic ASP to ASP.Net. His technical specialist more on .Net technology with C# and VB.Net. He holds a Microsoft Certificate Application Developer (member since 2003) and the holder of a degree in Computer Science(Graphics and Multimedia) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Practical Trainees

The Software Unit welcomes undergraduate students to invest their time as practical trainees with us. Practical trainees get to work on their own projects from conceptualisation, design, development and marketing. Every year, the software unit will set a specific theme and trainees are given the freedom to provide their own solution on how ICT can best be used to address the theme topic. The rules are simple: 1. trainees must be in pairs from the same university; 2. trainees must have a CGPA of 3.0 and above; and 3. trainees must have programming skills.
